In our research of ELT, we have come across a few alternatives to ELT that we would like to share with you:

• McKinsey conducted a study across 25 educational systems from around the world, using data from the 1960's forward.  Their findings suggest a more effective strategy than ELT for improving our schools.

• The Massachusetts Department of Education has a program for establishing Learning Centers to offer enrichment for those who want/need it for after school hours.
